Perfect oldschool beach house in a fabulous location. Pictures are true to the view as are the rooms. Short walk right down to the beach and the neighborhood is beautiful to walk through. Nauset Rental was super easy to work with. Would highly recommend this property and shall return. - Anne, Property 113249 |
Nauset Rental was very easy to work with and accommodated our off hours arrival. The house is super close to the beach which we loved. The weather was cooling off so well have to come back next summer! - Jon, Property 113247 |
Live life at a slower place in Outer Cape Cod, the soul of the Cape. From the scenic town of Orleans through the dunes of Eastham to the beautiful kettle ponds of Wellfleet and Truro and on to the artsy Provincetown at the tip of the peninsula, each town has its own timeless appeal yet is refreshingly different. Be captivated by the charm as you explore laid-back fishing villages dotted with colorful roadside clam shacks, ice-cream parlours and quaint shingle cottages. The scenic Cape Cod Trail winds its way along an old railway bed from Dennis to Wellfleet, dotted with eclectic cafes and swimming spots along the way, a wonderful way to explore the Outer Cape Cod towns.
Contrasting views of tranquil water beckons you at each turn, the waters of both Cape Cod Bay and the protected Atlantic beaches of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Serene stretches of dune-lined beaches with clear Atlantic waters, kettle ponds formed more than 15,000 years ago glimmer a darker hue and the warmer waters of Cape Cod Bay gently tumble to the shore. Bright fishing boats float along the waters, surfers ride the barrelling waves, anglers cast their lines from canoes and children play in the calm pond waters. Outer Cape Cod truly is a one-of-a-kind beach destination. Scenic, unassuming and rugged, it is a place like no other, where the Cape Cod National Seashore preserves the wilderness as if time has forgotten it, providing a sanctuary for well-protected wildlife, incredible sea life, magnificent humpback whales and the occasional great white shark! Scenic hiking trails lead through forests and marshes, historic lighthouses dot the cliffs, fresh seafood is served pretty much everywhere and Mother Nature delivers a magnificent display daily as the sun slips into the horizon. However, Outer Cape Cod is not only about natures glory! It has over the years become a hub for art and culture and home to the creative. Eclectic galleries line the streets, pavilions come alive with summer theatre and live music, beach bars promise the perfect way to end a beach day and funky eateries offer up everything from smoky barbeque to clam chowder and Saltwater Taffy.
